Τhe Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture is established in the Island Kefalonia.
Is located in the Metaxata village, on the main road of the area Livathos, in three minutes distance from the Island’s airport and five minutes from the island’s capital,Argostoli.
The island is by air connected three times daily – morning – noon – evening – to the Athens airport. Direct air connection exists daily with main European cities London – Birmingham – Manchester – Glascow – Amsterdam – Berlin – Stuttgart – Stockholm – Bremen – Munich – Helsinki – – Bratislava – Budapest – Prague- Vienna, during the tourism season, since April to November.
The islands are by sea connected to the continental Greece and Italy.
International sea lines are connecting the island directly to Italy through Angona and Bridizi but indirectly too, through the sea lines of Patra – Italy .Internal sea lines are connecting the island to Patra, Killini, Lefcas, Zakynthos, Crete, Corfu, other islands.
The main sea lines of the island, Sami-Patra and Killini-Poros are continuous, safe and comfortable.
The islands’ roads are safe and many daily bus lines connect the island to Patra and Athens, through Kefalonia’s Ktel services.
T he Center is located in central point of the island. It has direct and easy connection to the island’s capital Argostoli with local bus service. Into a distance of 500 – 1000 meters are the main shopping centers of the island , accessible with bicycle.
The island’s general hospital is in the capital of Argostoli, where and all the island’s authorities.
